"Government Polytechnic, Ahmedabad is one of the valued centers of quality education in the field of Engineering education offering diploma in Ahmedabad district of Gujarat. Automobile Department has been established since 1975 in Government Polytechnic Ahmedabad. Automobile Department has 180 student intake per year, having highest merit in Gujarat. At Present, Shri Shyam Varghese is Head of the Automobile Department, having total 27 years of experience. He has served as Deputy Director of Technical Education of Gujarat. Automobile Department has 17 Regular and Experienced Faculty. Also have 01 lab assistant and 01 Peon.
