| In the water supply & sanitary engineering course, we demonstrate to students how to perform tests like pH value, hardness, and turbidity on water samples and how to determine biological oxygen demand, chemical oxygen demand, sludge volume index, and sludge density index of wastewater samples. |

| This Department is having good instruments for surveying practice. The department has survey store with conventional equipment like Chain, Tape, Compass,Ranging Rod, Optical square , Plane table with accessories, Dupmy level, Transit Vernier Theodolite to latest equipment like GPS, Total station. With this, students are getting practice with conventional equipment and also with advanced equipment. Survey work is carried out in the field, outside the laboratory room. |
